7 IVF Truths Not Informed

12 IVF Truths Not Informed

The IVF specialists in Andhra Pradesh know it all as far as infertility issues are concerned. Patients can visit fertility clinics in Hyderabad to get proper treatment.

Delivering a baby the natural way may be difficult at times and couples may have to resort to the IVF technique. This modern technology is available in several fertility clinics in Hyderabad.

Any process that does entail a woman’s egg or embryos (fertilized eggs) being handled does falls under the umbrella term assisted reproductive technology (ART).

The functioning of IVF works does vary depending on the ages and health of the aspiring parents. IVF specialists in Andhra Pradesh know it all and can guide patients well.

Yet, there are certain truths to be known about IVF which are not often revealed to the patient, such as:

1. No guarantee

Often childless couples feel undergoing IVF will mean having a baby at home, but this is not so.

IVF does not provide a 100 percent chance of pregnancy.

The chances of pregnancy will much depend on the age of a woman’s eggs and several other factors.

Success rates do vary from clinic to clinic and therefore it is better to sort out matters with the fertility specialist or the clinic selected. It is better to enquire about live birth rates.

2. It takes a long time

A woman’s cycle is usually around 28 days long, but an IVF cycle on the other hand can be longer than that. People do not realize the time involve in the IVF process.

It takes nearly four to six weeks for the specialists to prepare the lining of the uterus before the embryo can be put into the uterus.

One day two or three the woman has to visit the clinic for blood work and an ultrasound.

Then the shots need to be taken. The woman will give herself a shot every day for about 10 to 12 days. Those shots happen to be a hormonal stimulant much designed to help the body produce more mature eggs.

The eggs are then retrieved as well as fertilized.

Then the embryos grow for about one week in the lab before being sent for genetic testing (if the couple chooses), which takes another week. Then, the woman needs to wait until the next month for the embryos to be implanted in her uterus, which then hopefully leads to pregnancy.

It is a long wait.

3. IVF can affect negatively mental health

Dealing with infertility as well as undergoing IVF do cause much stress and depression and anxiety.

Emotional support accompanied by open and honest dialogue about the stress caused needs to be highlighted by the specialist. IVF specialists in Andhra Pradesh are well versed in informing patients about the stress caused by IVF.

4. You might need it after conceiving naturally

Often couples feel once they have conceived naturally, they can do so again.

Secondary infertility implies that a woman who may have delivered one or more children naturally may not be able t dos o again.

Secondary infertility can indeed be due to age and health changes, or perhaps unexplained causes. For those faced with secondary infertility, the decision concerning having an IVF done can be a difficult one.

5. Plentiful chances of conceiving

The goal for anyone undergoing IVF is to have plenty of healthy embryos to choose from. More healthy embryos mean more chances to implant those embryos and a greater likelihood of becoming pregnant and giving birth.

Patients have access to too many healthy embryos than they need.

6. The patient feels younger

The hormone shots involving IVF make a person feel younger. On account of the hormones, the need for sex is more at times.

7. IVF is a viable option to think of

The quality of women’s eggs does decrease with age, and it becomes harder to conceive and thus carry a pregnancy to term. Fertility clinics in Hyderabad can help a woman to conceive.

Often it is known that patients who are in their mid-thirties do face infertility. They do not like to disclose the fact that they cannot have a child.
