What are preliminary investigation in IVF?

A patient going for IVF treatment must be familiar with the preliminary investigations. It is the only one can be well prepared for the advanced treatment both mentally and physically. It is advisable to consult one’s physician about what are the main components of IVF preliminary investigations. Let us observe these further:

Initial investigations of IVF:

Infertility involves the inability to conceive even if one has undergone unprotected sex for over a year. It is essential to consult a physician in order to be able to conceive a child. All childless parents would like to have a child of their own and are willing to spend on enjoying parenthood.

  • The doctor will checkup the medical history background of the couple.

  1. Prior to the treatment

  2. Hormone suppression
