What After Embryo Transfer To Increase Success?

Embryo transfer is a difficult medical process and requires the cooperation of the patient as well as the doctor. The patient must maintain a positive lifestyle.

For several couples, parenthood is not all that easy. IVF or In-vitro fertilization, fertility medications are made use of to stimulate the ovaries into releasing healthy eggs. These eggs are then removed from the woman’s ovaries and fertilized in a lab. The fertilized eggs then tend to multiply. After they multiply, the embryos are then transferred to the woman’s uterus. The embryo must then attach itself to the wall of the womb or uterus to confirm the pregnancy. This embryo transfer to increase success is what makes pregnancy feasible.

The IVF patient does find the “two weeks wait” time after embryo transfer is emotionally difficult. Does doubt arise about whether embryo transfer to increase success?

One needs easy. The procedure is stressful yet exciting. One needs to nurture oneself. One needs to relax and laugh as one gets relieved of stress.

What to eat after the embryo transfer?

Eating as though the patient was pregnant is essential which means a balanced and healthy diet that includes fruits, vegetables, proteins, fibers, carbs. Avoiding all harmful substances such as alcohol, caffeine, and nicotine is important.

The patient needs to take one’s medicines regularly.

Do not avoid prescribed medicine. These medicines do help to keep the embryo alive and make one’s uterus environment optimal.

Abstaining from vigorous exercise is important. One can continue activities but lifting heavy weights is not good. The ovaries are likely to be still enlarged and tender and need to be protected.

Avoiding heat completely is important such as hot baths, hot yoga, sauna, heating pads or anything that can raise the temperature of one’s uterus and needs to be strictly avoided.

It is necessary to expect the worst and wait for the best. And lean on Lean on the support system.

The “two weeks wait” does start just after the embryo is transplanted in women uterus. The embryo transfer procedure is a stressful yet exciting milestone in their fertility treatment journey for every woman. This is the time to nurture one. It is good to relax and laugh to avoid stress.

Thus embryo transfer procedure is not all that simple and the patient needs to take required precautions in the form of adequate rest and avoiding strenuous exercises and workload.

The embryo procedure is not all that simple as it appears to be. The patient has to make sure that it is a success by eating right. The doctor has his or her role to play in the embryo transfer and the patient has to be cooperative in lifestyle issues to increase success.
